All aboard a luxury yacht!

Adam Roy (Safeclean Kernow) donned his sea legs and recently undertook a very impressive and interesting job.

The work consisted of cleaning all the carpets onboard an elegant 1984-built luxury yacht, called the SY ADIX constructed at the Astilleros de Mallorca shipyard. The owner is Spanish billionaire Jamie Botin who is a key shareholder of Santander.

Adam advised that he had successfully cleaned some carpets on a couple of yachts that were alongside and in dry dock at Pendennis Ship Yard (Falmouth) a few years ago. The Chief Steward of the yacht contacted the yard for a recommendation, and they provided Adam’s details.

The yacht was intended to be in dock, but the plans changed and Adam had to boat transfer all his equipment to their anchorage about 3/4 mile offshore in Carrick Roads!

The clean went exceptionally well, and the Chief Steward was very happy with Adam’s work and his incredible attention to detail!
